Who are the Nations?

Posted by gospelclips on June 3, 2017

Who the Nations are is an important question for the times we are living in.

The Nations will be gathered before Christ at his Second Coming, they will be on Earth during the Millennium and they will surround the New Jerusalem in Eternity.

The Greek word for the Nations in the Bible is ‘ethnos’.  Ethnos is also translated as ‘pagan’ and ‘gentile’ in the New testament.  All these words ‘Nations’ ‘pagans’ and ‘gentiles’ refer to people who are not God’s people.

Matt 28:19 says: ‘Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations’

Luke 24:47 says: ‘Repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached to all nations.’

The nations then are the unconverted.   They are those that we need to preach to.

Col 1:13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,

When people in the nations are converted, they become part of God’s kingdom

Rev 2:26 says ‘to him who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the Nations.

Those who are victorious are God’s people and they are different to the Nations.

God’s people will not be the nations in the Millennium or Eternity.  God’s people will be given authority over them.

In Rev 20:7-9 Satan deceives the nations at the end of the millennium.  The Nations number like the sand of the sea and march across the breadth of the Earth to surround the camp of God’s people.

This shows that the Nations will be present during the Millennium and they are separate from God’s people.

Rev 21:4 says that in Eternity, the Nations will walk by the light of the New Jerusalem

God’s people will be with God in the New Jerusalem.

Who then are these nations who are outside the New Jerusalem?

Rev 22:2 says that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the Nations.

The nations in Eternity still need healing.  Just who are they?

The Nations are here now, they will be standing before Christ when he returns and they will be on Earth during the Millennium and in Eternity.

Matthew 24 is all about the signs that will precede the second coming of Christ.

Christ will appear in the clouds and His angels will gather God’s elect from the four ends of the Earth.

Chapter 25 follows on from this and begins with the Parable of the 10 Virgins which tells us how God will deal with the Church.  The foolish virgins miss out on the wedding feast because they forgot to take enough oil with them and their lamps went out.

The parable of the Sheep and the Goats is also in this chapter but this parable is concerned with how God will judge the Nations.

It says that when the Son of Man comes in all his glory and all the angels with Him, he will sit on his glorious throne.   All the nations will be gathered before Him and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the Sheep and the Goats.  He will put the Sheep on his right and the Goats on his left.

God tells them, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.   In other words, God will judge the Nations according to how they treated God’s people.  This is a judgment according to works.

God’s people in contrast are judged according to faith which is by grace.

The Sheep Nations who were kind to God’s people – (these brothers and sisters of mine) are rewarded and do not go to hell where one might expect a non Christian to go

Those who failed to show kindness to God’s people – The Goat Nations, are sent to hell

Thus we see that in the parable of the 10 virgins, not all those who are waiting for the Bridegroom go to heaven

And in the parable of the Sheep and the Goats, not all who are in the Nations go to hell

This explains where the nations in Eternity and in the Millennium come from.

The New Jerusalem is composed of believers from old and new testament times.  The old testament believers symbolized by the 12 gates and the new testament believers by the 12 foundations.

Rev 3:12 says The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

Outside are the Nations who were not thrown into the lake of fire.  These nations must therefore be in the Lamb’s book of life.  Yet they are not God’s people

When the seventh seal is opened, a Great Mutitude appear in Heaven and 144000 Jews from the 12 tribes of Israel will be sealed. The 144000 Jews will be God’s people on Earth during the Millennium. They will be surrounded by the Sheep Nations who Survive the Battle of Armageddon. This will be to fulfill the promises that God made to the Jews in the Old Testament.

At the End of the Millennium, God will make all things New and the Children of God from the Old and New Covenants will all be together in one New Jerusalem.

——————————————————————————–

144,000 Sealed

1After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3“Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.

5From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,

from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,

from the tribe of Gad 12,000,

6from the tribe of Asher 12,000,

from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,

from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,

7from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,

from the tribe of Levi 12,000,

from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,

8from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,

from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,

from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.

The Great Multitude in White Robes

9After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God,

who sits on the throne,

and to the Lamb.”

The Millennium fulfils prophesy. It follows the Second Coming of Christ. Born Again believers will be with Christ in heaven during the Millennium. The survivors of God’s Wrath repopulate the Earth during the Millennium. They include the 144000 Jews that were sealed and some pagans who refused the mark of the Beast.

How the Millennium can help us understand the Parable of the Two Sons

Posted by gospelclips on July 31, 2012

How can the prodigal son help us understand Eternity? Who will be in the New Jerusalem? Who will be the Nations? Who will be on earth during the Millennium? Who will go to Heaven?

This is a story that Jesus told to illustrate how God treats His Children. God is like the father in this story. His sons represent born again believers. The Father has servants who are not sons. The far away places represent the world and the people who live there have no fellowship with the Father and do not serve the Father. There are many layers in this parable. The Younger Son is contrasted with the Older Son. Sons are also contrasted with Servants. On the surface, this parable illustrates God’s love mercy and forgiveness towards His children. It illustrates how we as God’s children can become proud and think we are better than others whom God has forgiven and made His children by giving them His Spirit (The inheritance that would become theirs when Christ died). The story was relevant to the sinners and tax collectors (who were like the younger son) and the self righteous Pharisees (who were like the older son) to whom Jesus told it. It is just as relevant to us today as it was to the Pharisees and Tax collectors in Jesus’ time. On a deeper level, the Older son and the Younger son could equally represent Israel and the Church respectively. Who then are the Servants who serve the Father and who are the people in far off lands? In order to understand this parable prophetically, one needs to understand the difference between servants and sons and also have a good understanding of end times revelation. In Jesus’ time, people could become children of God under the Old or the New Covenant. It is possible to serve God without becoming a Child of God by serving God’s people. God distinguishes between non Christians who serve God and those who persecute Him. (eg The parable of the Sheep and the Goats.) Those who become Children of God by faith will become the New Jerusalem in Eternity. Those who only serve the father without becoming sons will become the Nations in Eternity. Those who rebel against the father and have no fellowship with Him will be thrown into the Lake of Fire in Eternity regardless of whether they became sons or not. If the Older son represents Israel, He like Israel will be part of the New Jerusalem and rejoice with the Father that the younger son the Church returned to the Father. Both the Church and Israel will be part of the New Jerusalem in Eternity. During the Millennium, however, the Church will be in Heaven and Israel will be on Earth. The Nations who were kind to God’s people will help the 144000 Jews to repopulate the Earth during the Millennium. Providing they do not take part in the final rebellion at the end of the Millennium, they will be the Nations outside the New Jerusalem in Eternity (if they are in the Lamb’s Book of Life when they are Judged at the Great White Throne). If you become a child of God by repenting and turning to Him and asking for forgiveness, you will receive an inheritance. God will put his Spirit in you now and you will be part of the New Jerusalem in Eternity. When Christ returns, he will redeem you from the Earth and you will reign with him in Heaven for the Millennium and in the New Jerusalem for all Eternity.

Seven Millennia (7000 years) for God to achieve His Purposes

Posted by gospelclips on July 3, 2011

The 6000yr Rule of Man

A Day is like a thousand years……2Peter 3:8

It is now approximately 2000 years  since the birth of Christ, 4000 years since Abraham and about 4500 years since the flood of Noah.  The time of Adam is thought to be about 6000 years ago.

Peter says that a day is like a thousand years.  We are about 6 millennia since Adam.  If Christ were to come back now and begin his millennial reign,  God will have completed his rescue plan in 6 days and rested on the seventh just as he did with Creation.

After the seventh millennium is over, God will make all things new and God will live with his people in a New Jerusalem.

When Christ returns, he will redeem His people from the Earth (the rapture) and raise the dead in Christ (the first resurrection).  The Nations who rejected the Gospel will be left behind to suffer the Bowls of God’s Wrath.   They will be separated into the Sheep and the Goats according to how they treated God’s People.  There will also be 144000 Jews on the Earth who have been sealed and protected from God’s Wrath.  The Nation of Israel will be restored for one Millennium to fulfill God’s promises to Israel.  The Christians will be in Heaven with Christ in Heaven during the Millennium.  When the Millennium is over, God will make all things New.  The Church will descend from Heaven like a Bride for Christ and God will dwell with all His people on a New Earth in a New Jerusalem.

The Nations (Pagans / Gentiles) are to be gathered before Christ when he returns with His army of believers.  The Nations who are gathered before Christ and His army (the believers) will be separated into the ‘Sheep’ and the ‘Goats’ according to the way that they treated God’s people.  This will happen at the Battle of Armageddon which will be the final event before the Millennium starts.

At the end of the Millennium, the dead outside of Christ will be raised for Judgment at the Great White Throne.

If  anybody’s name is not in the Book of life, they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire for Eternity.

In Eternity, God’s People will be with Him in the New Jerusalem.  There is also another group called the New Nations which are not God’s people but, somehow, they escape the Lake of Fire.

The Sheep and The Goat Judgment is the Battle of Armageddon which is for pagans who are living at the time Christ returns.   Zachariah Ch 14  tells us that some of the pagans who are living when Christ returns will survive Armageddon and become the Nations on Earth during the Millennium and perhaps in Eternity as well.  It is likely that they are the Sheep who were kind to God’s people and this is their reward which was prepared for them before the begining of the world.

A premillennial view with a pretribulation rapture

Posted by gospelclips on June 28, 2011

Prophetic Timeline with Critical Historic Events

Image from:  http://www.thesecondcomingofchrist.org/images/timeline_all_critic_dates_rev_chaps.gif

Only the 144000 will be raptured pretribulation.  The rest of the Church will have to go thru the Great Tribulation and will be raptured when Christ returns at the Last Trumpet.

The rapture is linked to the second coming of Christ at the end of the Great Tribulation.

Mathew says that the Christ will return after the suffering of those days.

After the Rapture, Jesus will lead an army of redeemed saint to judge the Nations.

The Nations will be gathered before Christ when He comes with the believers and He will separate the Nations into the Sheep and the Goats – (the Battle of Armageddon).

The Sheep will receive the reward that was prepared for them since the beginning of creation.  They will become the Nations on Earth in the Millennium.

The Goats will receive eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire.

A day is like a thousand years; God created the world in seven days. Will He fix it in 7 Millennia and then make all things New?

Posted by gospelclips on June 26, 2011

The second coming of Christ is imminent.

An interesting diagram that fits well with the view that God will complete his rescue plan in 7000 years.

We are now approximately 6000 year since the time of Adam.

The Bible says that when Christ returns, He will reign in heaven for a thousand years (The Millennium). Many of the promises that God has made to the Jews will be fulfilled during this time. When the Millennium is over, God will make all things new.

Peter says that a Day is like a Thousand Years (A Millennium).

God created the world in six days and then rested on the seventh.

Is Jesus going to restore His creation in six days (Millennia) and then reign in the seventh.

Six millennia have now passed since Adam. If God is following the same pattern of Creation, then Jesus could return any time now.

Nobody knows the historical dates precisely but allowing for some error in the way we have calculated the them, Jesus’s Millennial Reign could begin fairly soon.

If the last Millennium is about to start, the Second Coming of Christ could be imminent.

Make sure you are ready. Don’t be left behind or caught out.

The Millennium starts when Christ returns at the Last Trumpet

Posted by gospelclips on January 15, 2011

When Christ comes unexpectedly at the end of this Age, He will redeem his people from the Earth.
The dead in Christ will rise first followed by those who are alive in Christ. This is the first ressurrection and the rapture (or the Harvest) at the End of the Age.
Hence, all believers will be called up to be with Christ when he returns and they will remain with Him forever. (1Thess 4:17)
Believers will all stand before The Judgment Seat of Christ and will reign with him for 1000 years in Heaven over the Nations on Earth and will be rewarded for the things that they have done in the Body.
When Christ returns with his army of Believers, he will defeat the Beast and the False Prophet and the Kings of the Earth. He will separate the nations into the Sheep and the Goats.
The Dead outside of Christ will not be raised until after the Millennium.
Satan is bound for the duration of the Millennium and then is released for a brief time before being thrown into to the Lake of Fire where the Beast and the Antichrist were thrown at the Battle of Armageddon before the Millennium started.
At the End of the Millennium, the Dead in Hades and the Sea will be raised for Judgment at the Great White Throne. Those whose names are not in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be thrown into the Lake of Fire which is the second death.
Death itself is thrown into the Lake of Fire.
Finaly, when all things have been put under Christ’s feet, the Son hands the Kingdom back to the Father.
God then makes all things New.
The New Jerusalem descends from heaven as a Bride beautifully adorned for her husband.
God lives with Man on Earth in the New Jerusalem which is composed of New and Old Testament believers.
The Nations are outside but are allowed to bring their glory into the New Jerusalem once a year and are given the Leaves of the Tree of Life for healing.

The Millennium is mentioned six times in the third last chapter of the Bible.
Peter also makes reference to a day being like a thousand years.
God created the world in six days and we are about six thousand years from Adam!
Is Christ about to return? Is the final millennium about to start?

The Bible begins and ends with God creating (or recreating) the heavens and the earth the way He intended it to be.
In the third chapter of the Bible (Gen 3), Satan enters to corrupt mankind and lead man away from God’s purposes.
Not surprizingly, it is in the third last chapter of the Bible (Rev 20) that Satan exits (he is thrown into the Lake of Fire along with Hades and death and all those whose names are not in the Book of Life).
In between the first three chapters and the last three chapters of the Bible, God sets about redeeming man and restoring man to his purposes and in so doing, brings Glory to Himself.

If Satan would like to remove one chapter from the Bible, it would be the third last one; the one in which he is judged and thrown into the Lake of Fire.
This is also the Chapter that deals with the Millennium. The Millennium reveals how God deals with His people and the People of the World (ie the Nations).
If Christians are to go to heaven after Christ returns, it will be during the Millennium.
It is during the Millennium that Christians are rewarded for the things that they have done in the body.
When Christ returns at the beginning of the Millennium, the Nations will be sorted into the Sheep (who were kind to God’s people) and the Goats (who persecuted God’s people).
At the End of the Millennium, all enemies are put under Christ’s feet and Jesus hands the Kingdom back to the Father.
God then lives with man in the New Jerusalem on a New Earth surrounded buy the Nations who refused the Mark of the Beast and were kind to God’s people during the Great Tribulation.

Christ reigns in heaven during the Millennium (1000 years) with the overcomers

Posted by gospelclips on January 31, 2010

Christ reigns with the Believers in Heaven during the Millennium. When God makes all things new, His Throne will be in the New Jerusalem on the New Earth. There, God will dwell with man for all Eternity.

Christ is now seated at the right hand of the Father : Christ’s Throne is in Heaven

(Ephesians 1:20-21, Hebrews 1:3, Hebrew 8:1, Hebrews 9:23-25, Acts 7:49, Revelation 4:1-2, Revelation 7:9 Revelation 19:1-4)

Christ reigns with the overcomers in Heaven during the Millennium

(Ephesians 1:20-21, 1Thes 4:15-17, Heb 8:1-5, Revelation 3:21 Revelation 14:14-16 Revelation 15:1-4 Revelation 19:1-4 Revelation 20:1-6)

When we are raptured or resurrected, we will have a spiritual body

(1Cor 15:35-49)

It is the Father who makes Christ’s enemies his footstool

(Psalms 110:1; Matthew 22:41-46 Hebrews 1:13; Acts 2:32-35)

Satan is finally crushed at the End of the Millennium

(Revelation 20:7-15)

Only then will all of Christ’s enemies become his footstool

(Psalms 110:1; Hebrews 1:13,10:13; Acts 2:32-35)

Jesus will then Reign with the Father in the New Jerusalem on the New Earth

The Throne and dwelling place of God will finally be with Man on a New Earth

(Revelation 21:1-5 Revelation 21:10 Revelation 22:1-5)

REVELATION CHAPTER 20

Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a Comment »

Christ reigns with born again believers in heaven during the Millennium. A remnant of Israel (144000) and the Nations (Sheep) will survive God’s wrath and repopulate Earth during this time.

Posted by gospelclips on July 16, 2009

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Christ returns before the Millennium starts: this is a premillennial view.

The Church will be raptured before God pours out his wrath on the Nations: This is a prewrath view but not a pretribulation view – although there are many similarities. The rapture of the Great Multitude occurs after the 1260 day great tribulation and could therefore be called a post-tribulation view. Traditionally, post-tribulationists do not distinguish between tribulation and wrath.

The Church will be raptured in at least two parts. The first group of Christians to be redeemed from the Earth are the 144000 in Revelation Chapter 14. They are mature and undefiled and ready to meet the Lord. They follow the Lamb where ever He goes. This first rapture probably takes place before the the Great Tribulation starts – hence it is pretribulation. The Great multitude of Christians have to endure the 1260 days of the Great Tribulation. This is the main rapture on the Day of the Lord and it is Post-Tribulation but Pre-Wrath.

In a sense, both the pre-tribulation and the post tribulation views can co-exist and both be right. There is also a period of wrath that occurs after the tribulation but before the Millennium starts. Hence the main rapture can also be said to be prewrath. If one tries to simplify what is revealed in the Bible, it is easy to see how confusion about the second coming of Christ and the rapture of the Church occurs. This is why we have pretribulation, post-tribulation and mid tribulation views regarding the Rapture and pre and post millennial views regarding the second coming of Christ.

All believers reign with Christ in Heaven during the Millennium.

The Believers are raptured before God pours out his wrath on the unbelieving Nations.

The Nations will be left behind to suffer God’s wrath. Some will survive along with 144000 from Israel and become the Nations on Earth who take their offerings up to God’s people in Jerusalem once a year during the Millennium and in Eternity.

Non believers are raised for Judgment at the end of the Millennium.

At the End of the Millennium, God makes all things new. The kingdom is handed back to the Father once all enemies have been put under Christ’s feet. God and the Lamb reign on one Throne for all Eternity. God lives with his people in the New Jerusalem on a New Earth surrounded by New Nations. Those who persecuted the Church and worshipped the beast are thrown into the Lake of Fire which is the second death.

Where will you be during the Millennium?

Posted by gospelclips on July 16, 2009

Where Will You be during the Millennium and Eternity?

Where Will You be during the Millennium and Eternity?

The Millennium refers to a 1000 year period during which Christ Reigns with All Born Again Believers in Heaven over the Purified Nations on the Earth (Pagans who were kind to God’s people during the Great Tribulation ie the sheep) and a select 144000 Jews (God’s People) who repopulate the Earth during the Millennium

The Millennium fulfills many Old Testament and New Testament prophesies and promises before all of God’s people are brought together for Eternity

The Millennium follows the Great Tribulation and the Second Coming of Christ

After the Millennium is over, the devil is thrown into the lake of fire, the Kingdom is handed back to the Father and God makes all things new

All believers who were Born Again under the Old and the New Covenant (Circumcised or Baptized) will be combined into one New Jerusalem after the Millennium where God will dwell with them for Eternity and they will be able to freely partake of the fruit of the Tree of Life

The Bible does not reveal many details about the Millennium or it’s function. All those who have been saved over the ages will be resurrected and called up to be with Christ after their death (the First Resurrection). They will be joined by Christians who are redeemed (raptured/Harvested) from the Earth during the Great Tribulation (144000 + The Great Multitude).

When Jesus returns, ALL believers (Resurrected from the Dead or raptured from the Earth) will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ where they will be judged for the things that they have done whilst in the body. ALL believers will reign with Christ for a thousand years (The Millennium) and during this period will be rewarded for their service in the body. Those who have been more faithful will be given more responsibility. (For example, some will reign over ten cities on the Earth, others five.)

Only Born Again Believers will go to Heaven to reign with Christ. They will be the Wife of the Lamb (The Bride of Christ). They are destined to become the New Jerusalem in the New Heaven and Earth.

All those who have been Born Again over the Ages will take part in this First Ressurrection or will be raptured from the Earth during the Great Tribulation at the second coming of Christ before the Millennium starts. Those who are not Born Again will be ressurected at the End of the Millennium (a second ressurrection) and will stand before the Great White Throne where the pagans (also call nations, gentiles, non-believers) are judged.

Born again believers are, therefore, raptured or resurrected to be judged before the Millennium at the Judgment Seat of Christ. The pagans (unbelieving nations/gentiles) are not resurrected for judgment until after the Millennium. Those who are alive when Christ returns on the Day of the Lord will be divided into the Sheep and the Goats.

Each of us will be Judged according to what we have done. Whether we stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ or the Great White Throne depends on whether we are a Child of God; Saved by Faith (which is by Grace and not by Works).

After God redeems His people at the end of the Great Tribulation, He will pour out his Wrath upon the Pagan Nations who are left on Earth. Those who survive God’s Wrath will go on into the Millennium as the Purified Nations who surround God’s people (the 144000 Jews who are sealed and protected from God’s Wrath) and go up to Jerusalem every year to celebrate the feast of the Tabernacles. (Blessed are those who reach the end of the 1335 days)

Christ will separate the Nations into the ‘Sheep’ (who were kind to God’s People) and the ‘Goats’ (who persecuted God’s People) when he comes on the Great and Awsome Day of the Lord. (The Battle of Armageddon) The ‘Goats’ will go to Hades and the ‘Sheep’ will receive a reward prepared for them since the beginning of time. Their reward will be to continue as the Nations during the Millennium and into Eternity.

All whose Names are not in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Those who worship the Beast and receive his Mark will not be in the Lambs book of Life. There will be people from the Nations who do not receive the Mark of the Beast. (like the Born Again Believers, some of them will refuse to worship the Beast too). If their names are in the Lambs book of life when they are raised for Judgment at the Great White throne after the Millennium is over, they will not be thrown into the Lake of Fire but will continue as the Nations in Eternity.

At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be set loose for a brief period to try and deceive the Nations who are living on the Earth. (Satan’s Final Rebellion) He will cause many of the Nations to march against the Camp of God’s people (the descendants of the 144000 Jews who were sealed by God and protected from God’s wrath and became God’s people during the Millennium). This is the Battle of Gog and Magog at the End of the Millennium. God intervenes before the devil can hurt God’s People on the earth and the devil is eventually thrown into the Lake of Fire (where the Beast and the False Prophet were thrown at the Battle of Armageddon before the Millennium Started).

When Christ returns at the end of the Great tribulation, only believers, dead and alive are called up to be with Him. This is the First Resurrection and the Rapture of the Great Multitude.

Those who did not take part in the first resurrection will resurrected at the end of the Millennium to be judged at the Great White Throne. Those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life will be sent to hell. Those who persecuted the Church and/or Worshipped the Beast and received his mark will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Death itself will also be thrown into the Lake of Fire.

ALL believers will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and will reign with Christ for a 1000 years in Heaven. They are the Priests of God who came to Life and Reigned with Christ for the 1000 years. After the Millennium, they will descend from Heaven as the Bride of Christ to become the New Jerusalem on a New Earth where God lives with them for Eternity.

All authority will be given back to the Father once everything is made subject to Christ. God and the Lamb will continue to reign over the New Heavens and New Earth for ever on one throne!

Those who are not condemned at the Great White Throne will become the Nations in Eternity. The Nations do not come out of Heaven. They are not God’s people. They were not Born Again believers. The Nations in the New Earth must be in the Lamb’s book of life as they have not been thrown into the Lake of Fire. Therefore, they must not have worshipped the Beast. (In other words, some pagans who rejected the Gospel will not worship the Beast and will be kind to God’s People. They will be the Sheep (as opposed to the Goats) on the day of the Lord and will survive God’s Wrath to become the Nations on Earth during the Millennium.

Only Born Again believers will go to Heaven and reign with Christ during the Millennium. They will be the Wife of the Lamb which is the New Jerusalem in Eternity.

The Nations will be outside the New Jerusalem but will be allowed to enter the City of the New Jerusalem and have access to the Leaves of the Tree of Life only.

The Nations in Eternity are not as privileged as the people in the New Jerusalem who are continually in God’s presence and get to eat freely of the Fruit of the Tree of Life.

The Leaves of the Tree will be given to the Nations for Healing.

Angels advise not to worship the Beast. If you receive his mark, your name will not be in the Lamb's Book of Life.

The Millennium fulfills Bible Prophesy

Posted by gospelclips on June 22, 2009

The Millennium fulfills prophesy. It follows the Second Coming of Christ. Born Again believers will be with Christ in heaven during the Millennium. The survivors of God's Wrath repopulate the Earth during the Millennium. They include the 144000 Jews that were sealed and some pagans who refused the mark of the Beast.

Two groups of 144000

Posted by gospelclips on April 9, 2009

Vernon McGee Q&A – Are 144,000 in Revelation Two Groups?

Is the 144000 in Rev Ch 7 the same group as the 144000 in Rev Ch 14?

The first group are Jews who are sealed and protected duriing the Great Tribribulation. They become God’s people on Earth during the Millennium.

The second group are ripe mature Christians who are redeemed from the Earth – they are the firstfruits of the Harvest.

The Great Multitude are the majority of Christians  will have top go thru the great tribulation and will be raptured after 1260 days, but before God pours out his wrath on the Nations who are left behind.

The Nations who survive God’s wrath will be the Nations who surround God’s people on earth during the Millennium.

This will be a fulfillment of old testament prophesy.

At the end of the Millennium, Old and New testament believers willbe combined in one New Jerusalem.

During the Millennium, all born again Christians will reign with Christ in Heaven.

The Millennium and the 144000

Posted by gospelclips on April 9, 2009

Thoughts on the 144,000

Comment
I think the 144000 are a literal number of people.
Those in revelation 7 are Jews who will be protected during the great tribulation and will become God’s people on Earth during the Millennium.

Those in Revelation 14 are Christians who mature before the majority of Christians and are raptured before the great multitude who go thru the great tribulation.

The second 144000 are the firstfruits of the harvest and are probably spared from the great tribulation.  They are the first to be raptured.  The  great multitude get redeemed from the Earth (raptured) after the 1260 day great tribulation.  The great multitude  is a much much bigger group (maybe even  a thousand fold bigger than the 144000).

The Day of the Lord

AmazingFacts The Day of the Lord pt1of 3

Comment

Most Christians will have to go through the 1260 day Great Trbulation and the will be raptured before God pours out his Wrath on the Nations who are “left behind”.

The 144000 Christians in Rev 14 will be raptured before the great multitude who have to endure the Tribulation for 1260 days.  Thus, many Christians will be “left behind” after this first group of 144000 is raptured.  It will not be very nice for them because they will be persecuted and put to death if they do not worship the beast and accept his mark.
